Donald B. Nevard
Donald B. Nevard is a Chicago-born, Oklahoma City-based attorney and real estate developer who was bit by the photography bug on his first trip to Africa. Mr. Nevard used a Cannon 70D body camera with both 100-400 and 100-500 telephoto lenses and a base 18-135 lens. These photos are entirely unretouched and unedited. Distances to the subjects of the photos range from several hundred feet to just several feet, and images were taken at all hours of the day and night.
The photographs for this exhibition were taken on photo safaris at:
Lewa Wildlife Conservancy, Kenya
Ol Malo Sanctuary, Kenya
Mara Plains, Olare Orok Conservancy, Maasai Mara, Kenya
Tanda Tula Camp, Timbavati Game Reserve, South Africa, adjacent to Krueger National Park, South Africa
Leopard Hills Camp, Sabi Sand Game Reserve, South Africa, adjacent to Krueger National Park, South Africa
Toka Leya Camp, Zambezi River, Livingstone, Zambia
The artist gives great thanks to:
