Rose Refour is an adult artist with autism. She is self-taught and her work can be found in private collections around the world. She is mostly non verbal and will often use art to express herself. In addition to the 2014 exhibition Somewhere in Between, Rose did a show in London also in 2014 for Autism Awareness Month. With her sister Betty, Rose did a group show at the Fine Arts Institute of Edmond and a Special Populations show at the Oklahoma Contemporary. Her work has been a part of special populations group shows around the country. She shares a studio with her sister in Oklahoma City.
Rose's work was featured in our 2017 Inaugural Group Exhibition, February-May, 2017. She is also part of FRINGE Women Artists of Oklahoma and was in our exhibition, Fringe at The Art Hall, January-April, 2018.
