Christopher “Skye” Gant
I use photography as a means of self-expression and as a means to document the world around me. As a recovering drug addict and alcoholic, I feel I have a special attachment to the streets and the people in them. That connection with that demographic makes it possible to show people a world possibly unfamiliar to them. My goal as a photographer is to get up close and intimate with people and situations that could be uncomfortable to some. I hope to express the full spectrum emotions through my work, but above all the human element.
Skye’s work is featured in our exhibition Inclusion in Art at The Art Hall, December 7, 2018 through March 15, 2019.
